20th Anniversary of the JonBenet Ramsey Murder

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, a little girl described as a “beauty queen.” The 6-year-old was discovered dead in the basement of her parents upscale Boulder, Colorado mansion. Her murder rocked the entire nation and has gone unsolved for 20 years.

Tricia Griffith from Websleuths.com gives her thoughts on the case as well as her views on the new developments in the case.

A grand jury member that voted in 1999 to indict JonBenet’s parents for child abuse resulting in death, as well as accessory to murder, spoke out and blasted the Ramsey’s on ABC’s 20/20. Also, new DNA tests are scheduled to occur in this case next year. Will 2017 be the year the case is finally cracked?

  1. Thank you so much for this podcast, Levi. And thank you for your passion, Tricia. What a great show!

Wasn’t that Grand Juror interview a bit of a tease in the long run? At least it was for me.

And thanks for reviewing the indictment. I agree with Tricia that it seems obvious it pointed to Burke. The tDNA is a moot point, out the window, red herring.

And yes – look at the Ransom Novel, quite obviously authored by Patsy. Next, ask yourself why she would write that note. All roads lead to Burke, imo.

I can’t bring myself to say this was an accident, however. imo, BDI all – head bash, molestation, and strangulation; then mom staged her with the tape over her mouth, etc. and wrote the note.
